Planning Task Two: Content Creation
How will
my contents be organised into sections?
Fashion – This, as suggested by the commonly-themed
magazine title, will be the main theme of Threaded, especially due to the
reliance of fashion as always being a relative topic among younger audiences,
who will always be experimenting new styles.
Beauty – This topic is becoming more and more
prominent in modern culture, with people becoming more and more sophisticated,
and therefore, more aware and adherent to beauty standards. Furthermore, the
rise in awareness of toxic masculinity has meant that that area of beauty is
becoming explored by men, as well as women.
TV and
Cinema –The rise of
on-demand television, courtesy of digital streaming platforms such as Disney+
and Netflix, along with the functionality of mobile devices, has led to the
rise in convenience of television, and therefore, naturally, the rise in its
consumption.
Music – In a similar manner to the film and
TV industry, music has also become a far more portable hobby to adopt, due to
recent technological advancements, notably including wireless earbuds and
headphones. However, unlike film and TV, music has also become easier to create,
through platforms, such as BandLab, and even Spotify’s own, SoundTrap.

January Issue
The main coverline of the January issue will be connected to the “2026 Winter Wardrobe Essentials” article, as it illustrates the main focus of the magazine being fashion, and with the concept of “essentials” hoping to draw in a wide audience of young adults, due to them being commonly demanded across this audience.
Another coverline
will be connected to the “Layering: Your Fashion Bestie This Season” article,
as this helps to draw more fashion-oriented members of the younger adult audience
further in, and helps to support the commonly fashion-focused main coverline.
Another
coverline will be connected to both of the “25 of ‘25” articles, helping to
illustrate the additional focuses of Threaded in regard to both its Film and TV
category, as well as its Music category, and that Threaded is more than just a
fashion magazine, and that it is instead a style magazine.
February Issue
The main coverline of the February issue will be connected to
the “Popular Pieces Your Partner
Will Love This Valentine’s Day” article, as this helps to embrace the cultural impact
of Valentine’s Day, as well as Threaded’s fashion focus.
Another
coverline will be connected to the articles surrounding The Golden Globes, which,
at the time of the release of this issue, will have only recently occurred. Therefore,
the versatility of the impacts of this event helps to introduce the alternative
Film and TV and Music focuses of the magazine, as well as reinforcing its fashion
focus.
